Day #2 ORIENTATION

Day #2 was indeed an eventful yet incredibly boring at once.

The day started with the motel shuttle driver getting us to the terminal late, as the boss feller told us if we were late we would not have a job. We were not that amused. We were forgiven.

Then I had to finish the death by power point with the labtop and interactive videos.

The boss feller took each of us out on our test drives. I passed by the skin of my teeth. It was one of the new Freightliner Cascadias. The tranny was much different than the one I had trained on at Sage. I figured the fancy thing out half way through the drive so he passed me. Thank God.

But the highlight of the day was not the orientation events. But the boss feller took some of us to the Mormon's Mecca downtown Salt Lake! Got a good tour of the several large buildings, impressive and educational. I appreciated their focus on family, but did not enjoy the oft quoted Book of Mormon.

However, the facility was beautiful and the Christus statue was awe inspiring.

And for Tanya's sake, I must mention the pleasure I enjoyed when I got back to the motel, in the jacuzzi. The jets upon my back were... soothing. :) Love ya babe.
