Got a load from Chico Ca to Madison, Wi. We showed up, we missed the shipping crew by 30 min. So we waited till morning. I then headed up to Donner Pass. I will say this, and its not news, the California Government has a few screws loose. A SNOWLAKE!!! Time to freak out. CHAINS REQUIRED on a barely wet road. We chain up, and get on up further. Still just wet. And they turn us around- not enough chains for their road that lacked snow. So we head south to Vegas. Got swing by the house and kick the Dogs. I DROVE over Vail Pass with conditions far worse than Donner, you like snow and ice. no chains required. and we lived. Cali gotta love it. I think aliens run that show.
